Digital Library Rules & Regulations

The Digital Library of A.E.S College, Tarbha has been established to support the academic and general educational needs of all students and staff members. It provides access to open access resources, facilities for basic computer-related works, curricular works and research purposes. The following rules and regulations are to be strictly followed to ensure a conducive learning environment.

• The Digital Library is open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM only. Access is granted to all students and staff upon proper authentication through a valid College I.D.
• Put your signature with system No. on Register, while entering into Digital Library.
• The Digital Library is to be used strictly for academic and research purposes only. Users may access open access resources, prepare presentations (PPT), work on documents (Word), and attend online classes.
• Users are prohibited from the followings activities: Online chatting is not allowed. Browsing dating sites, social networking sites, or other non-academic websites is strictly prohibited. Playing games on computers is strictly prohibited in the entire library premises. Broadcasting unsolicited emails (SPAM) or distributing emails for personal financial gain is not allowed.
• Users must not change computer settings, configurations, or displays. Any attempt to alter the system will be treated as misuse. Computers, hardware, software, and accessories must be handled with care, and users are accountable for any damage caused by negligence.
• Users are prohibited from remove, insert keyboard and mouse from one system to another System and also desktop background change.
• Users are not allowed to create any files/folders on desktop (users can keep files/folder in ‘D’ or ’E’ Drives in the systems).
• All users are expected to maintain silence and conduct themselves in a manner that preserves a study-friendly environment. Disruptive or disorderly behavior will not be tolerated.
• Users are not allowed to enter the digital Library with their personal belongings (Bags). Users must take responsibility for their personal belongings such as pen drives, cell phones, wallets, etc. The college will not be liable for any loss or damage.
• Members are not allowed to carry eatables or drinks into the Digital Library to ensure cleanliness and protect equipment.
• The internet and computer facilities are to be used responsibly for educational purposes. Excessive downloading, streaming, or interference with other users is not permitted.
• If any system error appears during the working period, users should immediately inform to Digital Library In-Charge.
• Shut down your system properly and also switch off power board while leaving from Digital Library. Keep yours chairs properly while leaving Digital Library.
• Suggestions and feedback for improving the facility are welcome.
• Violation of these rules may result in disciplinary action, including suspension of access, as determined by the college administration.
• By entering and using the Digital Library, all users agree to abide by these rules and contribute to a respectful, responsible, and academically enriching environment.
